Description:

Clear, colorless solution of light yellow color.

 

Composition:

1ml contains:

calcium gluconate 200.0 mg.

 

Indications:

It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of animals suffering from the diseases caused by lack or reduction of calcium metabolism in the organism, especially in the reduction of its content in the bones; rickets; in the early stages of inflammatory processes of various origins; while bleeding and hemorrhagic diathesis; hives; rheumatic inflammation; prenatal and postnatal decubitus, post-partum paresis, retention of afterbirth, decalcification of the organism during pregnancy and lactation, when pregnant tetany, eclampsia in females of dogs and sows, as well as while allergies and toxicosis.

 

Administration and dosage:

The drug is injected intravenously at the rate of 0.5 ml per 1 kg of body weight. Maximum single doses (ml) per animal are as follows:

cattle 150-300;

horse 150-250;

pigs, sheep, goats 20-100;

dogs 5-25.

The drug is injected slowly one time. Prior to administration, it must be heated to the temperature of +35 °C - +37 °C. If necessary, repeat the treatment in 24 days in the same doses.

 

Contraindications:

Hypercalcemia.

 

Warning:

Syringe should not contain the residues of ethanol, because it can cause the loss of calcium gluconate in the sediment. It is recommended to inject carefully for youngsters due to the possible development of necrosis. The drug reduces the therapeutic effects of tetracyclines.

 

Packaging:

Vials of 50, 100, 200 and 400 ml.

 

Storage:

Store in a dark, dry place at the temperature from +5 ?C to +25 ?C.

 

Shelf life:

2 years.
