Description:
White or slightly yellowish powder.

 

Composition:
1 g contains:
penicillin G benzathine sterile-1 - 500 000 units;
sodium benzylpenicillin - 300 000 units;
procaine-benzylpenicillin - 200 000 units.

Indication:

It is indicated for treatment and prevention of cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats, fur animals and poultry (hen) suffering from infectious diseases (such as: Actinomycosis, Erysipelas, Necrobacteriosis, Pasteurellosis, Streptococcosis, Septicaemia, Pneumonia, Mastitis, Endometritis, Abscess, Phlegmon) caused by microorganisms sensitive to penicillin.

 

Dosage:

Brovacillin suspension is aseptically prepared immediately prior to use by entering sterile water for injection or isotonic sodium chloride solution into the vial at a ratio of 3 ml solvent per 1 g of the drug. After vigorously shaking the vial the resulting suspension is administered by deep intramuscular injection. For large animals the content of each vial is administered into a separate part of the body.

Therapeutic dose (IU per 1 kg of body weight) is as follows:

cattle, horses and pigs - 15,000 IU per 1 kg of body weight;

sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats - 20,000 IU per 1 kg of body weight;

fur-bearing animals (foxes, foxes, mink) and poultry (chickens - broilers) - 40,000 IU per 1 kg of body weight.

Depending on the nature of the disease, the above listed therapeutic dose is advisable to increase for 20-50%.

 

Contraindications:

Do not administer to animals sensitive to the effective substances of preparation.

Do not administer simultaneously with preparations containing macrolide antibiotics (erythromycin, tylosin, etc.) and tetracyclines, which are antagonists.

 

Warning:

Slaughter of animals and poultry for meat  is allowed in 15 days after the last administration of drug. Consumption of milk and eggs in food is allowed in 4 days after the last use of the drug. Meat, eggs and milk are fed to the unproductive animals or utilized to the specified period.

 

Packaging:

Glass bottle closed by a rubber cover with an aluminum cap of 0.5 and 2 g.

 

Storage:
Dry, dark place at the temperature from + 4 °C to +20 °C.

Shelf life:

 3 years.
